First released in 2008 with an original set of just 79 emojis, Google emojis are used in Android devices, and various Google platforms such as Gmail Web Interface, Google Hangouts, and ChromeOS.
However, not all Android devices use the same emojis, such as Samsung. And various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp have their own emojis.
A new set of emojis was launched in 2022 with Android 12L , which included a significant changes in design, as well as full support for Emoji 14.0.
