A donkey, usually depicted in grey and black color. It can be used to denote stubbornness, stupidity, and obstinacy or to identify a jackass or the donkey or mule itself. Not to be confused with the ๐ Horse emoji.
The donkey emoji can be used to reference a cartoon character from the Shrek or the Winnie the Pooh Series. If used as "Mule" it can also refer to a person smuggling illegal drugs across border lines.
It can also represent the Democratic party in the US if used with blue-colored emojis like ๐ Blue Heart or ๐ต Blue Circle, the same as ๐ Elephant can represent GOP when used with ๐ด Red Circle or other red-colored emojis.
